Just before the celebration of Diwali, we celebrates Sharad Navratri. Out of four Navratri in one year, Sharad Navratri is the last one. Every year, it falls in the month of October or November. This year, Navratri will be celebrated in the month of October. The starting date of Navratri 2013 is 5 October and the ending date is 12 October. Dussera is on 13th October. In the Navratri, nine different form of Hindu Goddess Shakti is worshiped.
These 9 forms of goddess shakti are Shailaputri, Shailaputri, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Kathyayini, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, Siddhidaatri.
