According the reports, Ghanchakkar ha collected a decent collection in the 1st weekend but failed to reach the kind of high which everyone was expecting. After a decent collection of 7 crores on the opening day, Ghanchakkar maintained a same collection in all the 3 days of 1st weekend. On the 2nd day Saturday, movie collected 7.2 crores with 45 % occupancy. The makers were hoping for a better 3rd day Sunday. Movie showed absolutely no improvement. On the 3rd day Sunday, Ghanchakkar collected 7.5 crores. So, after the end of 1st weekend total box office collection of Vidya and Emraan starer Ghanchakkar is 21.70 crores.
