Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has got an average start in the domestic box office. Due to the other movies which are released this Friday or previous Fridays, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has not got huge occupancy. Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan starer Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is sweet romantic movie in which Inran does various things to impress Kareena. Movie is directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The music of the movie is given by Vishal – Shekhar and lots of people are talking very good things about it. Overall movie is a simple family entertainer.

Before the release of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, there were two movies (Krrish 3 & Ram Leela) present at the box office and were already going well so there were not much chances for GTPM to have big impact. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is made for the big cities multiplexes and on the first day Friday most of the collection came from them. Movie got 45 – 50 % occupancy in the multiplexes and 30 – 35 % in single screens. The small cities were dominated by likes of Ram Leela and Singh Saab The Great.

So with this kind of occupancy in more than 1,500 screens, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has collected around 4.5 to 5 crores. This is the early estimated collection and final collection will be updated here again.

GTPM is a low budget and sweet romantic movie and the makers are trying to repeat the success of Ek Mein Aur Ekk Tu. That movie was also directed by same people and with same cast. So from this point of view, this is a decent start for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein on first day Friday. Decent reviews from critics and audience will help the movie in getting much better collection on Saturday and Sunday.
