Every year on 5 September, India celebrates its teacher’s day. On this day, we celebrates the birth day of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s second President and one of the most respected scholar in India. He was also a teacher of philosophy and when he became the president of India in 1962, his students started celebrating his birthday as Teacher’s day. From that time, India celebrates 5 September as the Teacher’s Day.
