As we all know, India has more number of festival than any other country and one of them is Navratri. Navratri is celebrated 4 times in a year and the mostly celebrated of them is Sharad Navaratri. Sharad Navratri is always celebrated in the month of October and November. During the Navratri, we can see the different types of celebration in many different parts of the country. As the name suggests, Navratri is celebrated in nine days but sometime the number of days can be less. This year Navratri will be celebrated for 8 days (Sindoor Tritiya & Varad Vinayak Chaturthi on same day). It will start on 5 October 2013 with Ghatsthapana and will end on 12 October 2013 with Maha Navami. Vijaya Dashami or Dussera will end this festival on 13 October 2013.
