Movie is a special movie for Deepika Padukone because she has already given three 100 crore movies in Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express. Ram Leela is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and critics are saying that this is one of Bhansali’s best movie till now. On the first two days, Ram Leela has performed outstanding at the Indian box office. In the 3,000 screens in India, Ram Leela has done the business of approx 34 crores. The collection in the first two days at domestic box office breaks as 16 crores first day Friday and 18 crores on second day Saturday. In the first two days, movie had a tough time because due to Sachin’s last test. But now that test has ended and movie has increased both occupancy and collection on third day Sunday.
On the third day Sunday, Ram Leela has got much better occupancy than first two days. The effect of good reviews and mouth to mouth publicity has definitely working well for this Ras Leela of Deepika and Ranveer. As per early estimation, Ram Leela has done the business of approx 21 crores on the third day Sunday with the occupancy around 95 %. The single screens were fully packed and multiplexes were little less on Sunday. So after the end of third day or 1st weekend, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela has managed to collect 55 crores.
