Marvel Studious is famous for his comic hero based movie from a long time and once again they have presented the 2nd part of superhero movie Thor named as Thor 2 or Thor : The Dark World. Alan Taylor’s directorial venture Thor 2 is released in more than 1,000 screens of multiplexes. Huge number of these are 3D screens and on the first day Friday, Thor 2 has got very good occupancy and collection. In the 3D screens of urban areas, movie has got 90 % occupancy and as per early estimation, Thor 2 has collected in the range of 6 crores.

Due to Indian superhero movie Krrish 3′s record breaking run, Thor 2 loss few single screens of multiplexes but still managed to get good collection. After Fast and Furious 6, Thor 2 has got 2nd best collection in recent time. Movie has got decent reviews from critics and will have a good time in the rest of the weekend.
Although Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and one of Hollywood’s most terrefying villain Tom Hiddleston aka Loki starer Thor 2 was not promoted much in the Indian region but I guess, such Hollywood movie does not need any promotion. Such heroic Hollywood movies has a well targeted audience in India in the major cities and on the first day same thing could be seen. Movie collected all of its collection in the major cities. Although movie failed to beat another Marvel’s movie Iron Man 3 but still a very good day for Thor 2 in India.
