After a little wait, the adult comedy movie Grand Masti has finally entered the 100 crore club. After the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam, some trade experts were doubting whether Grand Masti will be able to collect 100 crores in India but movie maintained the very good collection even after the release of star studded Besharam. After the release of Besharam, Grand Masti collected more than 2 crores in 3 days and entered the 100 elite club of 100 crore.
Grand Mast Collection Crosses 100 Cr
Before the start of 4th weekend, Grand Masti collection was 99.02 crores so it was sure that movie will cross 100 crore in 4th weekend. As per early estimation, Grand Masti has collected nearly 1.10 crores in the 4th Friday. So after the end of 4th Friday or 22 days, Grand Masti’s total box office collection in India is 100.12 crores. With this 100.12 crore, Grand Masti has now become the 5th movie of 2013 to cross this mark. The other four movies are Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Chennai Express.

In the 4 working days of Grand Masti’s collection stats are Mon 1.35 cr, Tue 1.31 cr, Wed 65 lacs, Thu 46 lacs and 1,10 cr 4th Friday. After the release of Besharam, Grand Masti loss huge number of screens. But due to bad reviews Ranbir’s loss became Grand Masti’s gain. At number of places, Grand Masti gave tough fight to Besharam or even out performed the new release.
Grand Masti is now own its way to become 3rd most successful movie of 2013. Movie is only 1 crore away from Race 2 and 2 crore from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
