Shuddh Desi Romance has finished its first weekend with a very good collection. There were number of movies released before and with Shuddh Desi Romance and in all of them this movie has the most lesser known star. Movie’s star Parineeti Chopra has only done 3 movies and Shushant Singh Rajput has only worked in his 2nd movie but movie still managed to outclassed other movies like Satyagraha, Zanjeer, Madras Cafe and Chennai Express.
According to some early estimation, Shuddh Desi Romance has collected more than 37 crores in the 1st weekend. Movie finished the 1st weekend with 2.80 crores collection on the 7th day Thursday. Before the 7th day, Shuddh Desi Romance’s total was 34.30 crores. So the 1st week total box office collection of Shuddh Desi Romance is 37.10 crores. Overall great 1st week for this live in relationship based movie.

Shuddh Desi Romance was released in 1050 screens across India last Friday and managed to collect 23.20 crores in the 1st weekend. Since movie got good reviews form critics and decent from audience so movie maintained its good run in the working days. Although as the week movie forward, it witness some drop but still movie is at very good position after 1st week. Movie has definitely established both Parineeti and Shushant as good actors in Bollywood.
Since this Friday three movies, John Day, Horror Story and Grand Masti are releasing so there will be more drop in collection for SDH. But we can still predict for a decent 2nd weekend for it.
