Shuddh Desi Romance is turning out to be one of another surprise hit of 2013. After a impressive collection in the 1st week, Shuddh Desi Romance continued it good run at the Indian box office in the 2nd weekend too. In the 2nd Saturday, Shuddh Desi Romance collected approx 1.50 crores. Before the 2nd day Saturday, movie had done the business of 37.80 crores in 1st week and 1.25 crores in 2nd Friday. . So on the 2 days of 2nd weekend, movie added another 2.75 crores to its total. Now after the end of 2nd Saturday or 9 days, Shuddh Desi Romance total box office collection is 40.55 crores. With this 40 crores, movie now in the hit list 2013.

The collection will be consider pretty good because most of the audience this weekend is going for Grand Masti. Movie has performed better than any other movie released with it. Zanjeer was released with SDH but that movie is a complete flop.

Shuddh Desi Romance is still holding a good position and looking good for 2 crores on 2nd Sunday. Movie has crossed the 40 crores mark and next target for it is 50 crores. For a movie whose budget was just 20 crores, 9 days collection of more than 40 crores looks pretty good.
