Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan starer Zanjeer is turning into one of the biggest disaster of 2013. Movie has finished the 1st weekend and it has registered a disastrous collection. Zanjeer winning the battle of worst movie of 2013 from fighting with Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala but it seems that Zanjeer is a clear winner. But its a win which now movie will like to get.
In the recently finished 1st weekend, Zanjeer only collected 15.20 crores. On the 7th day Thursday, movie did the business of about 80 lacs. Before the Thursday, Znajeer’s collection was 14.40 crores. Movie’s total budget is more than 60 crores so the collection of about 15.05 crores in 1st weekend looks pretty miserable.

Zanjeer had a decent enough cast including Priyanka, Ram Charan and Sanjay Dutt but due to some poor promotional strategy, movie did not started well. Rest of the work is done by bad reviews. Movie started the 1st week with 3.60 crores in Friday and ended with just 70 lacs on Thursday. In every day of the week, movie droped both occupancy and collection. Movie is now in the long list of old remake movie which failed big time.
Movie can add few more crores in the 2nd weekend or in 2nd week. Now the best possible target for Zanjeer will be 20 crores which looks beyond its reach. Overall, movie is one of biggest disaster of 2013
