The updated figures of first and opening day of Akshay Kumar, Ronit Roy, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari and Danny Denzongpa starer Boss are available now. According to trade expert Taran Adarsh, the first day updated figure of Boss is approx 14.50 crores which is way below than what every trade expert had predicted. After the first few shows occupancy, most of them were talking in the range of more than 20 crores. So looking at the holiday of Eid, little less collection than what Akshay and his Boss team were hoping.

Boss has not performed as well as everyone was saying it will. After a good opening occupancy in the early shows, movie failed to improve in evening shows. There were no holidays in some part of the country on Eid so the evening shows remained same as early shows. Also the India – Australia ODI also was a reason for not improving its collection on Wednesday. Since second day Thursday was a normal working day so as expected collection remained low.
With the 14.50 crores collection on Wednesday, Boss could not now break the record of Akshay movie Rowdy Rathore on first day collection. Rowdy Rathore had collected 15 crores on first day.
